Montessori Services Smelling Bottles

This presents up to six pairs of scents in easy-open, wide-mouth bottles. The amber glass bottles won't absorb scents. The ¾-inch openings make changing scents easy. You can color-code the matching pairs with adhesive dots for "control of error."

To mask the source of the scent, place cotton balls soaked with juice or extract inside the bottle, or wrap herbs or spices in a cheesecloth. This is suitable for children ages 3½ to 6.
