The place value working mat is designed for Montessori kids to use on the floor. It is perfect for laying out a large number of cards, golden beads, and other educational play materials for performing multiple Montessori or pre-school math exercises. The columns of each ‘place value’ are colored for the Montessori hierarchy of number.

This is a quilted mat with Montessori colors. The finished mat is approximately W 24 x L 30 inches. Embroidery thread is used for all stitches.

Style 1 - Flannel (colors of white, red, green, and blue). The mat is made of flannel fabric. It measeures W 24 x L 31 inches.

Please note: For all cotton mats, the design is printed on a heavy cotton fabric.

Six styles are available. Flannel mats take a little longer to make than cotton mats. All pieces of flannel fabric need to be cut and stitched together.

All mats have black cotton fabric for the bottom layer and a black border around the mat.

Bright four colors of white, red, green, and blue (flannel fabric) keep the attention of your Montessori school kids or homeschool kids for a fun math project.

Colorful flannel fabrics are used for the mat and felt fabric is used inside the quilt for more support to the mat.

The mat is very easy to roll and wrap with elastic straps and can be stored conveniently. The elastic color would be either black or blue.

Care instruction:
Wash separately with other clothes.
First, try to spot-clean the fabric with mild soap and water. For stubborn stains, machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent.
Lay flat and air dry would keep the shape of the rug much better. Tumble dry on a low heat setting is also fine if you need to dry fast. If ironing, use low heat.
